Ocean Isle Beach Bridge

On August 15, I posted a shot of the relatively new Sunset Beach Bridge. The island of Ocean Isle Beach is separated on the south end from the island of Sunset Beach by an inlet. The bridge across the Intracoastal Waterway to reach Ocean Isle Beach is several years older than the one for Sunset Beach. The trucks parked under the bridge are from folks who use those spaces while putting a boat into the water near the bridge. This bridge is nearly straight whereas the Sunset Beach bridge has a nice curve as you approach the bridge on the mainland and on the island. I didn't realize the similarities and differences in the construction of the underpinnings and supports of the bridges until I compared the photos.
