A Bit of Culture
Our last day in Guernsey. This morning we went to Candie Museum which I have always loved. The museum is small but has a great permanent exhibition of the history of the island which James found very interesting.
There is also a fascinating small section dedicated to Victor Hugo, who spent 15 years living in exile in Guernsey and wrote many of his famous works here. His statue takes pride of place in the gardens outside.
