Early morning light

The light was lovely this morning - if only I could have dragged myself out of bed a bit further than the window!!

A rare easterly breeze - we are predominantly Westerly here, as the wind comes down the River Dee. The large building is Tata Steel, formerly John Summers Shotton Steelworks.

The Deeside Industrial Estate is alongside, and home to some large companies now, including Iceland Frozen Food HQ, Toyota Engine plant, United Paper Mills, and many others! The view this way from our abode is what we call "industrial landscape" but if I turn a few degrees to my left we look right down the coast, over to the Wirral peninsula, and can see right down to the end!
