Another Birthday

The family birthday celebrations continued today as His Lordship and I travelled to Glasgow for the birthday of Glasgow daughter.

The weather was perfect, and seen through the train windows, the countryside was sparkling and verdant in the sunshine.
We managed a stroll around the centre, before our lunch date at Jamie's restaurant in George Square.
With Nina at school and Ewan having started his first days at nursery, we had a very civilised meal with daughter and son-in-law.

The bill made a bit of a dent in the monthly budget but it was worth every penny for the company, the food and the ambience.

The drink being held is an Aperol Spritz which is a new one for me.
