Too good for pins

This pin cushion was a present a few years ago. I have never had the heart to stick pins in it - so it sits on the windowsill in my spare bedroom.
Thought the shop would be busy today after the wet Bank Holiday Monday. Even though the shop was inundated on Tuesday with clothing etc the books were no more than normal.
The grass had dried and I was able to cut it this afternoon - a job I had wanted to do on Monday.
The new source I found for machine repair is unable to do the job because of illness. I have now found someone in Northampton, which is not too far away and I am going to take it over tonight. Hurrah!
