Which way?

Out on my evening run I ground wheezing and steaming to a halt and took a second look at this traditional signpost, one I gallop past several times a week, and liked the way it stood out against the russet brick wall and the blackness of the night sky.

Pushing the envelope somewhat with my little compact digital, handheld, 400 ISO, no flash, I managed to capture a reasonably sharp representation in virtual darkness: the sign was lit only by a streetlight, whose yellowness I decreased later by adjusting the saturation level.
