Moving up

Moved into my new apartment today, and overall very pleased as it's lighter, brighter and airier.

Periodic booming and thumping from nearby seedy club. Occasional flickering of lights so could be in a power cut prone area.

But big pros are:
- nice fried chicken place up the road
- 3-minute cycle to work
- my mate Merv's cafe around the corner where the other day he treated us to some homemade ice cream cake
- high enough floor to get some breezes and escape from most mosquitoes
- no cockroaches spotted yet

Looking forward to being here for the next year.
