Just a weed

on the side of the path, but so pretty. Seen during walk #7 before 8 am, in full sun it was already really hot.

The acorn might belong to an oak called Bur or Burr Oak, a tree that normally grows in the midwest to east US. It gets very big, which the size of the acorns would confirm. I only could find pictures where the caps and frills were brown, but that might be the season? I will check in October.
