Returned to Parkland
Less than two weeks ago you would have hardly been able to see a blade of grass at this location in Weston Park. This is the location of the Red Campsite for V Festival. Amazingly in the last 10 days the parkland has been emptied of nearly all of the structures put up for the festival. The waste produced, and there was plenty, has been removed by an army of people who sweep the area like locusts, devouring every remnant left by the festival goers on the ground.
Witihin a short time even the yellowed grass, where the stages and larger structures were erected, will return to verdent green. Speaking to the head gardener and curator this morning they get the distinct impression of a changing of the seasons. Evidence of autumn is being seen and leaves are already on the turn. Looks like summer is on the wain.
