Split pea or Nuthatch splits!?

One of the things we really enjoy about this edge of woodland caravan site is the number and variety of birds that are attracted to our bird feeder. This Nuthatch was almost doing the splits as it looked around for a clear flight path with its split peanut in its mouth! Blip sorted this morning so we headed off to Peterborough.

By happy co-incidence we bumped into our next door neighbours of 10 years ago! We spent a very happy afternoon in their new home reminiscing, and catching up on BMDs, and family events! We hope that the remainder of J's birthday was even more memorable and enjoyable! Thank you L & J for a very pleasant reunion. We hope it wont be another 10 years before we repeat the event. In the meantime, come on J - join BLIP!
