raindrops on roses

A nasty day of winds and lashing rain. We are plunged in to an early autumn.

I was happy enough to spend the day indoors painting furniture with this paint. I'm not especially interested in the shabby chic thing that it seems to have been developed for but I was delighted to find a completely odourless easy to use paint that I could use indoors without having breathing difficulties. Finding that the wax that has to go on afterwards is quite noxious is a bit of a disappointment but the furniture looks well.

This evening it dried up enough to nip out for a blip, the furniture not being sufficiently finished yet.

The first print sales have been made! Two are going in the post tomorrow and the rest are here, here and here (the Clonakilty branch). As well as the craft shop in Rosscarbery.
