Surf's Up!

Today we had fun with our five year-old grandson Jackson. We sprung him from Kindergarten for the day, so he could come wish his Great Grandmother a happy 90th birthday a day early! Later this afternoon, we took him to the beach, where we got gloriously sandy, salty, and wet.

I guess because Hurricane Cristobal wandered by offshore the other day, the surf is quite enthusiastic, and the water is lovely and warm. We've been very wary of rip tides, though.

On another grandson note, Jackson has been visited TWICE by the tooth fairy in the last few days!
