Couldn't resist

Bought a bunch of these for myself today in Waitrose. It doesn't do to be too self-sufficient but at the same time, I am providing for myself as much as I can rather than waiting for others to do so. There are limits though as we all know.

Hopefully next year I will be able to snap flowers I have grown from scratch (not roses though). A pom pom dahlia on a neighbouring plot catches my eye every time I walk to mine.

Even being on leave from work this week, Wednesday was not a good day for photography for me. Too much else to focus on (groan). I am missing the depth of field control I had with my friend's lens. Wondering about seeing about a second hand lens to get myself one sooner rather than later.
