Falling..

so soon.. poor Horse Chestnut trees they seem to be curling up their toes very early this year. So many of them look burnt off already . .. is that the disease getting to them I wonder?.. Still, the colours of the leaves on the ground are just beautiful.

Waiting the arrival of daughter no 2 who is driving down from Edinburgh for the first time. She went by York and Peterborough to drop people off on the way.. seemingly they missed a train.. ?? ah well.. it's kind of her and probably more fun than thundering down the M6 like I usually do.
