Conferencing

Being involved with Saltire has got me into in a lot of exciting projects over the last 5 years or so, this year I decided to commit some time giving back and helping to create an alumni platform. Today we went along to the global alumni conference which was conveniently held in Edinburgh! Fantastic ideas from people who already have strong networks, lots of things we can learn.

Then, skipped away to go to this talk which really interested me - the impact of Scottish independence on education. An interesting debate and met a man from Switzerland who spent some time talking to me about their more 'crowd sourced' democracy. The next few weeks are going to be very interesting...
