Paper lanterns

I took this photo on my day off when I was in the Chinese supermarket buying ingredients for chicken noodle soup. I love the warm colours of the Chinese lanterns, maybe I'll have a party and buy some of these to decorate the flat, that's what I think about when I see them, a celebration! I was hoping to get to the beach again before the summer was out but unfortunately the days have turned unseasonably cold. That's why you'll find me shopping rather than enjoying the seaside. You never know though September could be pleasant (here's hoping)
