The kids didn't wake up until 9:30 this morning; I was awake at 8:30 but lay in bed with a cup of tea for company until they woke. Mr S and his dad were cementing the driveway this morning so he was up and outside long before we were dressed.

Met up with a friend and her children at an indoor play centre and stayed there for 4 hours this afternoon. It wasn't that busy so they weren't evicting you after 2 hours, so it was a lot of fun for the kids! Plus there were massive snakes to hold, little snakes, bearded dragons, giant african land snails, praying mantis and tarantulas (and other strange creatures). But, typical me, I was having far too much fun holding them that I completely forgot to take a picture! Oh well, I'm sure it's not the last time the girls with hold these creatures!!

The girls decided they wanted to stay up and see Mr S come home (at 11pm), they behaved themselves so well today that I decided they could. I'm glad I did as they were making me cups of tea and even did some washing up. I'm wondering how long they will sleep in until tomorrow. It could be our last big lie-in before they go back to school next week. Let's hope it's gone 9am again.
