The kremlin. Kazan

Didn't realise there were any kremlins other than the one in Moscow. Apparently it means walled citadel, and most Russian cities have one . Our hosts took us on a night- time sight seeing trip after we finished dinner at 10 pm. It was worth it - Kazan is a really beautiful city. However we were then taken to another 'informal' meeting- finally got to bed at 12.30, and no free time since breakfast at 8 am!
