Reid State Park

This first day of school, we took advantage of the beautiful day and rode to Reid State park. We'd never been and loved it! Unlike Popham, Reid has a mixture of sandy beaches and rock-lined coast. We had a great morning of exploring while the effects of tropical storm, Cristobal, off the coast, brought high surf and crashing waves! A trip to Reds Eats in Wiscassett had us waiting in the hot sun an hour for the best lobstah roll ever! Well worth the wait!
The kids did well at school, except for a fall on the playground for Colby! Everyone's happy! A great day!
