Handy

Today was the induction day for the course I'm about to begin at Dumfries and Galloway College - HNC in Photography. I cycled in and arrived all sweaty and most of the day was spent in the classroom, talking about the course content, the deadlines we would have to meet and the niceties of IT. Most of the students are about 35 years younger than I am but there are a few mature students. One of those was Liz, who lives near me and although I don't know her very well, hers was a familiar face and it was lovely to sit and eat our lunch together on this huge wooden hand. Also, she makes a very tasty chocolate and beetroot brownie!
