Robin Barclay - one a day

By RobinBarclay

Backgarden in late summer

Despite the forecast, it was mostly sunny today - there was (so far) one heavy shower. By this stage of the year I lose the battle to keep some order, and the growth burgeons. I will try to sort it out after the leaves fall. In retirement, why do today what you can put off until tomorrow, it seems. Maybe I have taken on too many time-consuming things subconsciously concerned about having little to do (or maybe it's an inability to be idle, arising from being raised on a croft). Still, I need to de-clutter my workshop, garage and attic (and the rest of the house) before the garden - as that is starting to impede my ability to do anything since there's nowhere to do it. Oh - and don't switch on my PC until late in the day!
