African Totem
This is the outside entrance to our spectacular abode. We spent a while before breakfast wandering through a fantastic display of art, including two rickshaws and a whole wall of neck rests. Whoever came up with the idea of a wooden rest rather than a pillow must have been a little bit sadistic but clearly his idea caught on.
We then had a great morning spent at uShaka Marine World. We had forgotten how restful it is to watch fishes going to and fro.
There were at least six school groups going through the aquarium area and we loved watching their little eyes getting bigger and bigger along with the ever increasing size of the creatures they were seeing for the first time. There was a huge squeal as a ray flattened itself to the glass as one wee girl was looking the other way. I am sure she thought she was going to be eaten.
Prawns, mussels and calamari made up our supper after a wee stop at a local pub.
Early to bed for us before we head north to join the rest of the party oat Sodwana.
P.S S&I, we haven't done the north coast with you before, do you fancy? Anyone else who would like to join us would be very welcome!
