Cathederal

Finally got to Guildford Cathedral today.
Very imposing building, built in the 20th century. Designed by Edward Maufe in the 30's and finished in 1961.
I must say I didn't like the brick building at first glance but once inside it is completely different... Beautiful stone piers, gothic-ish in a modern clean arts and crafts style and very majestic.
Good to know that Surrey University make good use of the cathedral for their graduation ceremonies, well they do share the same hill!
