If you live in the UK you will probably be familiar with Malbec, a relative newcomer in the wine market from Argentina. Malbec is a red wine. particularly associated with Argentina. Torrontes is a white wine, also particularly associated with Argentina, and you can find it in the UK if you look carefully. This one is from Cafayate in the province of Salta (not to be confused with El Calafate in Patagonia). And yes, I am drinking white wine with chicken in a spicy sauce and that's my business.
