I love Stroopie ;-)

Especially when they are blasted briefly in the microwave to make them all squishy!

When I was in Wales last year these same waffle-thingys were being presented as a traditional Welsh recipe.
So are they Dutch or Welsh or both?

I hope posing this question will not cause a rift between our Dutch & Welsh Blippers ;-)
