Victoria Bridge

I try to get out the office most days for a break at lunchtime, but my usual walk takes me little further than the Riverhill Cafe on Gordon Street where the friendly girls prepare top notch coffee and tempt me with cakes. Today was a particularly frustrating one so I ventured out in the opposite direction and took a walk along the River Clyde instead. I often forget that there is a vast river just behind all the shops and offices and it certainly helps take my mind off things for a while in a way the buzz of coffee and the city can't. This is the view from Victoria Bridge west down the Clyde to the South Portland Street Bridge and onward.
