Starlings, sheep and lapwings
I've been working on salt marshes over the last few weeks. The days have been long, the walk-ins have been long and there has been little to photograph. I thought the salt marshes would have a bit more interest than what I've seen, but the majority are largely over grazing so that's the main problem.
I saw quite a few interesting birds today and despite my best effort my camera didn't have a good enough zoom to capture them well enough :(
I've seen egrets, herons, curlews, shell ducks and at the end of the day I saw some starlings, sheep and lapwings all together having an evening feast. I wish I could have just got shot of a lapwing though, such beautiful birds.
