Ruskin Glass Centre

I'm always looking for something a bit different to do now H is getting older, I'm conscious of the fact that this summer holiday might be the last one when we spend so much time together. This morning I took H and her friend to the Ruskin Glass Centre, Stourbridge, for a taster session at Carol Griffin Enamels. We've layered powdered glass on to a copper base, fired it, applied more glass, some decoration and fired it again, and been able to bring the results straight home. I'd met Carol socially a couple of times before and took her business card last week at a wedding, it's been a lovely morning I'm sure we'll go back, H has declared it 'awesome' and is already asking when.
