We Are Ladies, Doing Lady Things!!

We had a lovely afternoon at Audley End House with Poppy's friend Sophie. I was really impressed with the girls who were interested in everything and asked the stewards in the various rooms lots of intelligent questions. The best bit was the top floor of the house where the childrens' rooms and nursery has been recently opened up and restored to how they would have been in Victorian times. It was definitely the most appealing part of the house for the girls as they were free to touch and play with different artefacts and displays and even try on the clothes.

Alfie had a great day out with the Catteralls and various others who took them to Parkside pool in Cambridge and then for a picnic at Wandlebury.

The girls have built a den in Poppy's room which they have stuffed full of cushions, cuddly toys and chocolate. This is apparently where they are intending to sleep.
We shall see!!
