A favourite view

Had to go to Oban again today to pick up the pick-up from the garage. I stopped opposite one of my favourite views, crossed the almost empty A816 and climbed over the crash barrier.

Below me, just out of sight in this picture, was the Kilmore cemetery and ahead was the beautiful view, ever changing, across the mouth of Loch Feochan to the mountains of Mull. Just around the corner behind the promontory on the right is the tiny croft house known as Tigh Beag (the little house) which was the location for scenes in the films 'Ring of Bright Water' and 'Enigma'.

I never pass the spot without a glance out to Mull - the picture is never the same!
