Welcome to Utah

Today we had quite a long drive of nearly 300 miles today from Jackson to Salt Lake City. We stopped off at a rest stop for a picnic in the sunshine after a few days of cloud and rain. It was almost as if as soon as we crossed the border into Utah we left the cloud in Wyoming. The rest stops are brilliant, with lovely little picnic areas to sit and watch the world go by. It is hard to believe today that most of Utah is a ski resort in the winter. We arrived at our hotel in the afternoon and had a nice afternoon in the pool whilst we did some laundry. We then went on a massive walk to the Cheesecake Factory which wasn't supposed to be as far but we at least worked up a good appetite.
