Harvest sunset.

A varied day again. A meeting this morning about the quarry,then off to whack down another field of grass.Had to come back in to load a cow onto a lorry for Whitley Bay,then finished the field by 4pm. An afternoon of showers,pot luck where they went.
Got the contractor to bale some straw in big square bales in bandit country,and have just got them all home and under cover ,all unscathed.
It was a glorious sunny evening but a change on the way again.
This is the oat field that went flat in June. Had to spray it off on Monday to kill the second growth on the flat stuff so we can attempt to salvage it in about 10 days time.
