Calais

Quick blip tonight as exhausted.

Up at crack of dawn to catch the ferry to Calais.

Pretty uneventful drive until we got to the port and TWW decided to go through the lane for buses and lorries.

Not too bad really.

As weather wasn't great we toddled off to the hypermarche for a spot of shopping.

When we finally left it was beautiful sunshine.

We spent rest of the day on the lovely sandy beach.

Children went swimming, mothers larked about, seal swam with children.
We all got over excited.
Lifeguards chased children down the beach, 2 were in a jeep chasing them!!
More excitement for mothers!!!

Finally trudged home.

Mothers overtired and shouty not at children.

Pot noddles for tea.

Bed.

Lots of giggling heard from tents as we are popping up photos on Facebook.

I need to sleep.
