Dark hedges

Our own local "Dark Hedges" in Ballymoney near Armoy, you can see why this was a terrific backdrop for the cast of Game of Thrones to use in Season 2,

episode 1: On the King' s Road, Arya Stark has escaped from King’s Landing, disguised as a boy. She is with Yoren, Gendry, Hot Pie and others who are to join the Night’s Watch, in a cart, travelling north on the King’s Road.

Classic episode was a funny week after seeing two cast members of Game of Thrones stars in past few weeks. First Oberyn Martells wife Elleria Sand aka Indira Varma was at a vintage craft fair standing there beside me (also in Luther as his wife) then the other week Peter Dinklage was in Ikea and just breezed past me!
