Consumed

Today was hot, sunny and humid. I took the dog for a blip walk and we saw some lovely things.

There was a bee and a stink bug on the ragged summer flowers beside the trail. A fence post was illuminated by a sunbeam. There are some berries turning purple on a weed by the trail, and a bush high above the curves was covered with bright red seeds.

However, the most amazing thing was the tree stump as tall as I am covered with mushrooms. There were two the size of dinner plates and three more as big as my fist. This picture is of the mushroom at the top.
