A Fine Feather....

Spikes2013 and I went to the gardens this morning for our weekly coffee/natter and photographing. The gardens were beautiful, so much to enjoy. As we walked we were aware of a real fight between 2 male ducks.......they were out to kill each other. I have never seen a duck being ferocious....it went on for so long. Even with us trying to intervene, they fought on. As a result feathers were flying!!!!!! loved this tiny fragile neck feather. It seemed to be over a female duck.....I guess its that time of year.

I played with an extension tube on my 50mm prime lens.......different result, but quite liked it.
