Columbia River Tugboat

We enjoyed visiting our longtime friend for the first time in her house overlooking the Columbia River at Cathlamet, Washington.

Her back deck looks down on the river 500 feet (165 meters) below from the glass wall of the great room.

A whole afternoon of great conversation, good food and the most amazing panorama filled with ocean going ships sailing up to Portland, Oregon.
