Darren Thomas Powell

One year ago today my boss Darren died. I didn't know how much I loved that man until he was gone. He might have been stressy, cheeky and frustrating at times but behind that he had a fantastic sense of humour and a heart of gold. I had a cry today as I did what used to be his job but I remembered the good times too. Coming home to find my boyfriend had bought me this bunch of flowers because he knew I'd found the anniversary hard made me feel very lucky. The butterfly has special significance and reminds me Darren is still with me.
