Local heather

I've been quite frustrated recently by my inability to get out and about with my camera - recent plans for the Lakes and even a trip to the Peak District have faltered over the last couple of weeks. Rather than mope around bemoaning this state of affairs I decided to see how the heather was doing in Sutton Park. This glorious heather and gorse is just a mile or two from home, and I think proves that there are decent photos to be found close to home as well as far away. You'd never guess this is urban parkland, would you?
