Preparation

It needs to be done. Sigh.

It was another largely grey and drizzly day, and after a nice lazy start, I headed off to school, this time sans Little B.

I got loads done, but it was all the donkey work- hoovering, cleaning tables and reorganising furniture. It kind of got trashed by the holiday club that use our rooms, but they kicked out today so that I could get sorted. I ended up staying 4 hours, and was a bit manic, ie, doing everything so quickly in a panic to get it all done!

I felt pleased though when I'd done it, like I'd achieved something I suppose. I made this display, which is lots of motivational quotes for kids, along with the class rules they are supposed to follow this year ;-)

In the evening I went to the gym. I worked on some straight somersaults which were really fun, and did nearly an hour on bars. My upstart is a bit better, but nowhere near doing it without help. I can't get my baby giant either for love or money... Still, you can't run before you can walk, but I like instant results!

I had a nice cup of tea in bed when I got home. It's kind of nice saying at mum's-it's like a little holiday :-)
