Early morning light

I went for an early walk this morning because I wanted to get a blip before I leave for the mainland. This view along the road reminded me of this song. The sky was beautiful. I really hope those clouds mean that we're going to get some much-needed rain.
When we went out in our friends' boat a few weeks ago, we floated for awhile down by that little island where the boats are. I understand now why I often see boats moored there because it was a lovely place to be.
