Sad to go

With a heavy heart I left Waitrose today. It's been a wonderful place to work and I have met some lovely people and friends too.

So why did I leave...? A number of reasons really, too long to list, but it's best just to say that that the new proposition is better both on a practical basis and for other reasons. My head and heart were pulling me different ways. Fate is a funny beast, it's obviously happening for a reason, we just don't know why yet.

So this is the last of my series of "Smokers Corner", it looks like they have been having words...

Onwards and upwards, I am planting poppies tomorrow at the Tower of London :-)
