Old Graveyard

The old little graveyard of the Schanzermühle/Schanzerhof.

According to the gravestones the last funeral there was in the late seventies.
The few people still living in Schanzermühle/Schanzerhof are now laid to rest in the towns cemetery. It may not look like it, but it's still taken care of.
I like the "wilderness" of those graves a lot - a huge difference to the towns cemetery. I stop there at least once or twice a year, whenever the bicycle decides to take me there.
