Sunset on Angevine Lake

Carla came back today and spent the day with us before going back to Halifax after supper with our dear Emily. She's gone for the week, we'll miss her very much.

Carla will try to arrange for the rest of the family to come visit next weekend.

After they left, we made a fire outside and then we were treated with the most extraordinary sky over the lake created by the sunset. Pictures cannot do it justice but I tried anyway. Paddling on a still lake with such colors over our heads was simply sublime.

Vacations are going along exquisitely fine.
