One thing that I find very strange about Icelanders, is that they always seem to leave their bicycles, plus their expensive barbecue grills, outside in the rain and snow. Coming from South Africa, where it will be stolen 5 minutes after you leave it outside, I find it amazing that it happens so seldom here. Since it rains so much here, things rust quickly, which makes it even more surprising and somewhat wasteful in my opinion.
