Rusty Rails at Cocksburn Reservoir

Following on from my photography experienceyesterday I set off to take pictures today, attempting to remember what I did yesterday. It was a very different day in terms of light and so I was quite pleased to get some reasonably well exposed pictures. The subject matter is hardly comparable to Edinburgh but I have previously thought that these rusting pieces of the old water works mechanism were worth recording. They are in contrast to the silvery new gate that has been erected ... and why has the information plaque been removed?
