Playing catch up with photographs from Knoydart. Took the Gripper up the Sound of Sleet and up Loch Hourn to drop rough some of the other guests off in Barrisdale Bay.

This is the view of Ben Ladhar from Barrisdale Bay; a majestic munro which ranks highly amongst connoisseurs. Tried to climb it in the July heatwave last year with surprising results - beaten back by the heat and ended up flat on my back in the dining room in the evening.

Wonderful views of porpoises and seals throughout the boat trip. Mrs M stayed back to read a book. When I got back we sat out in the late afternoon sunshine wrapped in rugs - a precursor to our dotage?
