Sourdough blues

This is my sourdough starter-well a bit of it. It's 3 years old and for some unknown reason it went in the huff when we went on holiday this summer and now it won't rise. I know it's not dead because every now and then it chucks out a few teasing bubbles. Nothing so frustrating as a sourdough starter that thinks it's funny :(
