Galleries

A day taking students round galleries today. We started off at the City Art Centre. From tehre it was on down to the National Portrait Gallery where the first floor exhibitions on the portraits of John Byrne and the Great war were especially good. After that we were up at the Fruitmarket Gallery for Jim Lambie.

I also took in the shows at the Dovecot and finally on up to Summerhall via a short detour so Anna could pick up Mallow, her fourteen week old Puggle pup since dogs are allowed into Summerhall.

It was a fantastic way to spend a Friday!
