Lesson 37 - The pub: ordering & sitting outdoors

It’s what the English do,
crowd round the bar
in a subtle queue
and order beer.

(It doesn’t matter which,
for you, they’re very much
the same,
all oddly warm.)

Then go and sit outdoors.
Cold air, it’s true
but never mind because
it’s what the English do.

And take group photos
with your pint (or half)
having a laugh
the way the English do.
